Sorby Sovereign Multi Tip Hollowing Tool Overview
The Sovereign turning system from noted turning tool manufacture Robert Sorby, offers a delicate combination of comfort and balance just where you need it. Beautifully engineered, this versatile tool system not only looks good, it feels great, and the interchangeable tool handles are available in 16 and 22 inch lengths. The handles are made of aluminum alloy to give you the best of strength, balance and vibration dampening qualities and each handle is equipped with a durable Softex grip for extra comfort and control. Both handles will accept turning tools with a 5/8? diameter shaft, but 3/8? and 1/2? collets are also included so that you can adapt the handle to a variety of tools. The Sovereign System offers several options to aid in your turning projects. The addition of a side handle for added control, or if extra weight is needed you can add a counterweight to the end of the handle. Unscrew the end cap and attach the counterweight to the end cap and reattach. If a longer handle is needed use the optional coupler to attach two of the handles together providing a handle up to44? long.
